Tayler Hobson
Owner

Tayler Hobson is an owner of Spring Creek Mortuary, a Utah County funeral home serving families throughout Springville, Eagle Mountain, Saratoga Springs, and surrounding communities. He is passionate about creating a better, more personal experience for families navigating funeral planning and the loss of someone they love.
With a background in entrepreneurship, real estate, marketing, and business development, Tayler brings a different perspective to funeral service. He constantly looks for ways to make funeral planning simpler, pricing more transparent, communication clearer, and services more meaningful for Utah County families.
At Spring Creek Mortuary, Tayler focuses on the mortuary's growth and development, community relationships, technology, and improving the systems that support families before, during, and after a loss. He is especially passionate about challenging some of the traditional expectations surrounding funeral care through clearer funeral pricing, better education, meaningful personalization, and a greater emphasis on telling the story of the person being remembered.
Tayler believes every person has a life worth knowing and that a funeral home should do more than coordinate a funeral or memorial service. It should help families feel cared for, understood, and confident that their loved one is being honored in a way that reflects who they truly were.
Outside of Spring Creek Mortuary, Tayler enjoys spending time with his wife and children, rock climbing, being outdoors, and pursuing new business ideas. Being a husband and father has deeply influenced how he approaches funeral service and strengthened his belief that families deserve to be treated with the same care, patience, and respect he would want for his own family.
Through Spring Creek Mortuary, Tayler hopes to help create a new standard of funeral care in Utah County —one built around transparency, personal attention, meaningful storytelling, and genuinely caring for families during one of the most difficult times in their lives.
