Mark Hannant
PreNeed & Aftercare Specialist
With 19 years of experience as an insurance producer, Mark Hannant has spent much of his career helping individuals and families prepare for the unexpected and protect the people they love. In 2024, he brought that experience into funeral service, where he now helps families both plan ahead and navigate life after the loss of a loved one.
As Spring Creek Mortuary’s Preneed Specialist, Mark works one-on-one with individuals and families who want to make their funeral arrangements in advance. He helps them understand their options, make decisions at their own pace, and create a plan that reflects their wishes and their family’s needs. For Mark, preplanning isn’t about focusing on death, it’s about giving the people you love fewer decisions to make during an already difficult time.
Mark’s role continues after a family has experienced a loss. As our Aftercare Specialist, he helps families navigate the many practical details that can arise in the days, weeks, and months following a funeral. He provides guidance, answers questions, connects families with helpful resources, and helps make what can feel like an overwhelming list of next steps more manageable.
Mark also works with families on lasting memorialization, including helping design headstones and other meaningful tributes that reflect the life and personality of the person being remembered.
What Mark values most is building relationships with the families he serves. He believes funeral care shouldn’t begin only when someone dies or end when the funeral is over. Families deserve someone they can turn to before, during, and after a loss for clear information, thoughtful guidance, and genuine support.
Outside of work, Mark enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and playing hockey. He plays in the Peaks Adult Hockey League (PAHL) with his team, The Skateful Dead.
At Spring Creek Mortuary, Mark helps us fulfill our commitment to care for families beyond the funeral itself, making sure they know they don’t have to navigate everything that comes next on their own.
