Laurie Briggs

Laurie Jean Briggs, 68, of Springville, Utah, passed away on May 10, 2026, after a hard-fought battle with cancer. She was born on October 31, 1957, to Robert and Pearl Moorman. On August 31, 1984, Laurie married the love of her life, John Briggs. Together they made Springville, Utah their home for 42 years. Laurie was a dedicated worker for Nestle in Springville. Even with her long work weeks, she still made time for the things she loved; ATV’s, camping and snowmobiling with her family. Every summer as her boys grew up the family would vacation together.
Retiring after 28 years, she loved to travel through Idaho, taking Cruises, and often spending time in Libby, Montana.
A devoted dog lover Laurie welcomed “and often dealt with” the many dogs her sons and husband brought home – big and little.
Laurie is survived by her husband John, who will miss his travel partner and best friend, and sons, Aaron, John (Lisa) and Spencer, along with eight grandchildren that she loved dearly.
Laurie was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Pearl Moorman, sons Eddie and Brandon.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at 10:00 am, at Spring Creek Mortuary, 737 North Main Street, Springville, Utah 84663. Interment will follow at Niche Wall in the Evergreen Cemetery, 1997 South 400 East, Springville, Utah 84663
