Kaylynn Paige

–

Spanish Fork, Utah

It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our sweet daughter, Kaylynn Paige, age 16, of Lake Shore, Utah, following an unexpected medical emergency at home.

Born on June 23, 2010, Kaylynn joined the Paige family at 18 months old alongside her brother, Kalub. From that very first day, she brought an incredible amount of light, laughter, and love into our world.

Kaylynn had a smile that could light up a room and a laugh that made everyone around her smile. She loved school, especially participating in band, playing soccer, and spending time with friends who made her feel so loved and accepted. She would come home from school excited to share stories about her day, after her nap, of course! She would often giggle as she told us about the funny things that had happened. Her happiness was contagious, and those moments of listening to her stories and laughing alongside her are memories we will always treasure.

Kaylynn was a homebody at heart. She loved being home, and sometimes it took a little convincing to get her to go anywhere. But once she was out, she was always happy to be there and enjoyed herself. She also loved anything involving water. When she was little, she was always asking to play in the sprinklers. As she got older, that love turned into swimming with friends and taking long baths.

Kaylynn loved dressing up and expressing her personality through the things she wore, and she always had to have a bag or two to complete her outfit. She was a collector of things, especially clothes, and rarely wanted to part with anything. To Kaylynn, everything held a special meaning or memory, making it hard for her to let go of even the smallest things. She loved stepping into new worlds through her VR headset, exploring virtual spaces with excitement and a sense of fun. And Kaylynn certainly loved her sleep! She could fall asleep just about anywhere, taking naps on the bus, after school, during school, and sometimes even when her friends were over. These little memories will forever bring smiles to our faces.

Kaylynn shared a special bond with each member of her family. She loved telling Mom her secrets and spending time together getting her hair done. She asked Dad to teach her how to dance and loved the time they spent together. Kaylynn always looked forward to visits from Felecya, who never failed to check in and make sure she was doing okay. And Felecya wasn't about to let Kaylynn get away without a hug, even if it meant making her get out of bed or put down her VR headset! Zack was always looking out for Kaylynn, making sure she knew someone was in her corner. Kalub and Kaylynn shared a special bond that she held close to her heart. Whitney was someone Kaylynn could count on to help guide her in the right direction, offering the kind of love and guidance that only a sister can. Each of these relationships were special in their own way and meant so much to Kaylynn.

Kaylynn’s days were made even brighter by the love and laughter she shared with those closest to her. Shayden brought a special kind of happiness into her life, making her smile and sharing new experiences with her, including dancing. Lainey was her swimming partner and a friend who was more like a sister. Kaylynn and Lainey shared the kind of friendship where they could disagree one minute and make up the next. Lainey also knew firsthand that getting Kaylynn to leave the house sometimes took a lot of convincing, even when it was to do something she loved, like swimming!

Madi and Abbey were such a constant presence in Kaylynn’s life that they felt like part of the family. They were there for so many of the everyday moments, always showing kindness and making sure Kaylynn felt welcome and included. Their friendship and the love they showed her meant so much.

Kaylynn is survived by her heartbroken parents, Jimmy and Jennifer Paige; her loving siblings, Felecya Roux (Quinn), Zack, Kalub, and Whitney; her grandparents, Frank and Sally Paige, Melvin and Jayne West; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss her every single day.

We find comfort in knowing that Kaylynn has been reunited with her beloved dog, Kenzie, whom she missed so dearly.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Spanish Fork West Stake Center 575 W 400 N, Spanish Fork, UT 84660

An additional viewing will take place on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at 10:00 AM followed immediately by the funeral service at 11:30 AM also at the Spanish Fork West Stake Center.

All who knew, loved, and shared in Kaylynn’s bright spirit are welcome to attend.
